This week's finishes are of the actual quilting (no piecing!) variety.
I finished up the quilting on the pinwheel quilt I'd started awhile back..you know, the one where I ran out of backing. I think it turned out pretty well. I didn't quilt over the pinwheels themselves and I really like how it turned out.
My second finish is a panel to which I added a wide border. I used it mainly as a practice piece for my quilting which turned out to be a little squirrelly, but it's cute.
Happy quilting, y'all!

Hi there, I think your little pinwheel quilt is lovely - so fresh and bright. And your quilting looks good - not squirrely at all!
ReplyDeleteWow! The quilt panel looks really awesome! Great job! And I love your pinwheels - very effective!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love how the quilting makes the pinwheels pop. I need to practice tighter quilting. I tend to go for looser, bigger.
ReplyDeleteLove the pinwheel. And love how you used a panel for 'practice' - but it is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBoth quilts came out really wonderful! Whoop whoop!!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on both quilts!
ReplyDeleteYour pinwheel quilt is a good reminder that I need to make one of those.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on both of these! I love the pinwheel quilt!
