But WHY?!

Even Lulu can't explain the 'why' of word verification

I've gotten alot of questions lately about 'Why word verification?'  followed up with comments about how aggravating the whole process is.  Okay, okay!  I found a way to turn it off...for now.  If I start getting spam comments again, I'm turning it back on.  So sit back, relax and enjoy less eye strain!

Happy weekend, y'all!

  1. I love reading your blog--and occasionally commenting--because you are so real and have a great sense of humor. Thanks for making it easier to comment (and I do hope you receive absolutely *no* spam--although I find blogger filters it better now). Enjoy your weekend.

  2. Thanks! I appreciate it. I think I'll turn mine off too as I know it is really aggravating.

  3. hahaha I think word verification was created by optometrists to test our eye sight. Sometimes I have to just guess what letters and numbers are there, because I can't see them. It just all runs and blurs together. Other times I just give up. Of course, if I stand back away from my computer then I can see, but by the time I walk back to the computer I have forgotten what I saw. Yes, I need to go and get my eyes check. My reading glasses got sat on a while back and I just haven't gotten around to getting more. :)
