I don't worry how it'll look in the end because I'm never satisfied with it anyway, so why worry?! Just go for it and have a good time...that's the whole point :)

@Elisa, I tend to be slow, too which is why I didn't enjoy the one and only quilting class I took. I plod along: sew a bit, then switch to cutting strips, then press a bit. And which Singer are we talking about...I own seven, all vintage..one's a treadle. Yes, I said seven...I am a Singer slut ;)Stephaniehttp://imperfectmom2two.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675743311501999181.post-24635183742622172642011-07-27T08:49:19.735-05:002011-07-27T08:49:19.735-05:00I love how your swirly yellow in the top block rea...I love how your swirly yellow in the top block really compliments the shape of the Gerbera Daisies. I can't wait to see more of your blocks finished because it looks like you have really fun colors and patterns picked out for your blocks. I've got the directions printed off with every intention to follow along with the Quilt-Along, but am having a hard time pulling fabrics together and visualizing how they will look at the end. I think if I get a free evening in my sewing roo, I'm just going to have to take the plunge and start it :)Samantha Knoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675743311501999181.post-18086537485786306722011-07-27T04:13:00.662-05:002011-07-27T04:13:00.662-05:00I love all the colors in the squares you made and ...I love all the colors in the squares you made and the strips ready to go. I'm a relatively slow quilter myself-- I always marvel at how prolific other quilt bloggers are, and then I just remind myself that I do what I can when I can and that I'm doing my best. Glad you put the pedal to the metal-- you go girl! What Singer model do you have? I have the Confidence Quilter 7629 (or is is 7269?) and I am very happy with it.Elisa Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04320037827105511594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675743311501999181.post-13717048777154583482011-07-26T20:31:55.735-05:002011-07-26T20:31:55.735-05:00Thanks Miss Betty! Thanks Miss Betty!Stephaniehttp://imperfectmom2two.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8675743311501999181.post-6319449211778317602011-07-26T17:48:26.119-05:002011-07-26T17:48:26.119-05:00Looking Good Lady!!!!Looking Good Lady!!!!bettyphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17831531200508678581noreply@blogger.com
